Bathroom Party

Legendary Crypt records have been the forerunning purveyors of of dirty garage rock since the 1980s. Crypts ‘Back from the grave’ compilations inspired, and continue to inspire, underground music scenes across the globe.
The Crypt stables include such inspirational and seminal Luminaries as The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Guitar Wolf, The Gories, Oblivians, Thee Headcoats, New bombTurks, Lyres and Teengenerate.

Asked by Crypt to produce their fifth single, Atomic Suplex instead delivered an album, which incidentally, bares the converted catalogue number Crypt LP- 100 no less.

‘Bathroom party’ is a physical assault of sound that makes slick, overproduced and overhyped rock look at it’s shoes in shame. Who cares if they’re hitting the right chord or tuning their instruments correctly, what counts here is the pure, fiery passion and animalistic explosion of feedback and rock ‘n’ roll.

Coming very soon. . . . .

CIRCOLO CULTURALE STILEMIO

Oh dear the shop does look in a sorry state, after our short tour of Italy everything bar our split single with Japanese monsters Theee Bat is now sold out (and I think we only have four copies of that – but I’ll need to check a smelly tour bag, so for now let’s just assume it’s true).
We will be filling up the shelves very soon with our new DVD, a hyper limited edition 10 track CD and the Frantic City extended remix of ‘Rock & Roll Must Die’ cassette.

Also coming soon is our next vinyl record for Crypt, whatever that might be. . . . .

Bandcamp

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

Yeah, MySpace has really shot itself in the foot trying to hard to be like a facetwitter. It’s all over the place and overcomplicated. Used to be a simple way to find new bands and keep in touch with promoters and music fans.

Anyway we came across Bandcamp as an alternative. Deadly simple and to the point. To celebrate the new year we have stuck up five tracks to download for FREE. The future may bring more, lets see how it goes.

Supersonic Breakdown – Split Single Sold Out!

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

That’s right kids, it’s the only way we ever sell out (though if you are listening Sony, we are still good for that lunch).

Radiowave Small

You idiot! should have bought one while you could, or maybe Radiowave should have printed more. Actually you might still be able to get one from someone else in europe or wherever, I could only find this place (but I didn’t look very hard).

I also found two more copies of the swankers split behind the sofa. I’m torn between doing a competition, or waiting to get all big like the Rolling Stones and selling them at a hugely inflated price. I will of course have a hugely inflated bank account by then and won’t need the money (unless my almost certainly hugely inflated ego has spent it all).

Atomic Suplex featured on this months ‘Classic Rock’ cover CD

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Yeah that’s right we are ‘Classic Rock’. Very classy.
Somehow we managed to get onto the the cover CD to this months magazine. 70,000 copies worldwide apparently. I’m going to have to start drinking tea with my little finger pointing out. ROC151-1.wallet_med1-795x1024

Atomic Suplexed by a Girl – SOLD OUT!

Monday, May 31st, 2010

We have now sold out of the Swankers Split single. If you already have one, well done, when we get to number 1 in the pop charts that’s going to be worth big bucks. You should have bought two.
Record
Crypt Records in Germany have a small amount of copies on sale.

As far as I am aware no others exist anywhere other than the ‘awesome’ section of private record collections.

Theee Bat are not only legends of the Tokyo garage scene,
they are quite possibly the greatest band that ever lived.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve with them. If I didn’t already have one I would stop typing this and buy a copy right away. Then I would buy another for fear that anything happened to the first one.
And so should you!
